Poker is not purely a game of luck. This is perhaps the most repeated saying in the poker community — and it's true. Players who understand probability, read their opponents, manage their bankroll, and make rational decisions under pressure will, in the long run, outperform those who rely solely on being dealt good cards. fachai88 understands this reality and has built a poker platform that truly rewards skilled players.
Texas Hold'em is the most popular poker variant at fachai88 and around the world. With just two hole cards and five community cards on the table, every hand presents hundreds of possible decisions. Whether to call, raise, or fold isn't simply about the cards you're holding — it's about the story you tell through your bets, reading your opponents' actions, and knowing exactly when to play aggressively or fall back on a more conservative approach.
At fachai88, Texas Hold'em tables are divided according to player level. The Micro tables with RM0.50/RM1.00 blinds are the ideal starting point for new players to hone their skills — some players spend months at these tables before moving up. Far from being a mistake or a waste of time, it's the smartest investment you can make in your poker journey.
For players who are already comfortable with Hold'em, fachai88 also offers Omaha Hi-Lo — a variant that is growing in popularity across Malaysia. In Omaha, each player receives four hole cards instead of the two dealt in Hold'em. This has a significant impact on strategy, as the range of possible hand combinations is far greater. Omaha players often describe the game as "wilder" — bigger pots, more frequent turning points, and non-stop action from the first minute right through to showdown.
Speed Poker or Zoom Poker at fachai88 is an innovation that transforms how players spend their time. In a standard format, you wait for a hand to finish before the next one begins. With Speed Poker, the moment you fold, you're instantly moved to a new table with new opponents. In just one hour, you can play up to three times as many hands as regular poker — ideal for players with limited free time or those looking to build experience faster.
Poker tournaments at fachai88 ranks among the most active poker communities in Malaysia. The monthly Grand Poker Championship, with a RM50,000 prize pool, draws players from across the country — Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Penang, Kota Kinabalu, and Kuching. Weekly freerolls give newly registered players a chance to experience tournament play with zero financial risk. It's the smartest way to kick off your tournament journey at fachai88.
Rakeback system and loyalty programme fachai88 for poker players is among the most competitive around. Every time you play at a table and pay rake, a portion is returned to you as rakeback. The more active you are, the higher the rakeback percentage you receive. VIP poker players can earn up to 30% rakeback — meaning that even if you're playing at break-even, rakeback puts you ahead overall.
Deposits and withdrawals for poker at fachai88 supports all major Malaysian local payment methods. Practical tips from experienced fachai88 players — ready to apply at the table.
Playing from a late position (the dealer button or close to it) gives you a significant edge — you get to see every other player's action before making your decision. Avoid playing too many hands from early position.
Poker experts recommend keeping a minimum of 20 buy-ins for the stakes you play. If you're playing at RM2/RM4 tables with a RM400 buy-in, you should have at least RM8,000 as your poker bankroll.
The most common mistake new players make is having too high a VPIP (Voluntarily Put in Pot). Be patient and wait for strong hands — this basic discipline is what separates winning players from losing ones.
Pay attention to your opponents' bet sizing in different situations. A player who frequently check-raises is likely playing for value, while one who often min-bets may be probing. These mental notes build a useful profile of each opponent.
After a bad beat, step away for a moment. Playing on tilt — whether out of frustration or anger — is the fastest way to give back all your winnings. Professional players know when to call it a day.

Real experiences from active poker players on our platform.
"I've been playing online poker for over 5 years, but only joined fachai88 two years ago. The most noticeable difference is the quality of opponents — they play seriously, not just for fun. It pushes me to up my own game. The rakeback programme is genuinely worth it too — last month I got back RM1,200 from rakeback alone."
"I started poker through a fachai88 freeroll with nothing — won RM300 from my first freeroll, used it to enter micro tables, and I'm now playing RM2/RM4. It took about a year, but every bit of it was worth it. Their Speed Poker is great too — you can grind far more hands in a fraction of the time."
"The fachai88 Grand Championship was the poker highlight of my year — made the 9-person final table, finished 3rd, and took home RM8,500. The platform ran smoothly throughout, with zero disconnects during critical hands. Deposits and withdrawals via DuitNow are a huge advantage over other platforms that keep you waiting."
